Epithalon is a peptide drug, also known as Epitalon, primarily used in anti-aging and anti-tumor research. It was originally found in bovine pineal gland extract and is therefore also known as the vitamin of epithelial tissue.

Main Mechanism of Action:
Epithalon is believed to activate telomerase, thereby lengthening telomeres (the protective structures at the ends of chromosomes), which may delay cellular aging and promote cell regeneration. Telomere shortening is associated with aging and certain diseases, so research on Epithalon has focused on delaying aging and improving health span.

Application&Function

The main mechanism of action of Epithalon is to prolong the telomere length at the end of chromosomes by upregulating telomerase activity, thereby delaying the process of cellular aging. Telomeres are protective structures at the ends of chromosomes, and their shortening is associated with cellular aging and various age-related diseases.
