Fenbendazole (CAS: 43210-67-9) is a broad-spectrum insecticide of the benzimidazole class, with the chemical name methyl-N - (6-phenylthio-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl) carbamate. The appearance is white or off white crystalline powder, slightly soluble in water, and easily soluble in organic solvents such as dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). The drug has good stability and needs to be stored in a dark sealed container. As a veterinary drug and experimental reagent, fenbendazole is widely used in agriculture, veterinary medicine, and scientific research. Its high-purity pharmaceutical grade products are also used in anti parasitic research.
Application&Function

Fenbendazole selectively inhibits the aggregation of parasite microtubule proteins, interfering with their energy metabolism and cell division, thereby efficiently killing gastrointestinal nematodes, tapeworms, and certain flukes. Used in veterinary medicine to treat parasitic infections in animals such as dogs, cats, horses, cows, and sheep. In recent years, research has found that it may exert potential anti-tumor effects by regulating immune and metabolic pathways, but this use is still in the experimental stage and has not yet been clinically approved. Strict adherence to dosage standards should be followed during use to avoid drug resistance.
