It can be used in the feed of pigs under 4 months of age, with a dosage of 10-50g/t and a withdrawal period of 5 days. For pig feed under 2 months of age, the dosage is 15-50g/t, and the drug withdrawal period is 5 days. It can also be used in chicken feed, with a dosage of 4-50g/t. The withdrawal period is 5 days. It is contraindicated during the egg-laying period.
Chlortetracycline has inhibitory effects on both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and can be used to treat diseases such as typhoid fever and pullorum disease in livestock and poultry. It also serves as a growth promoter. Used for pig feed. It is used for feed of broilers under 10 weeks of age, with a dosage of 20-50g/t and a withdrawal period of 7 days. It is used for pig feed under 2 months of age, with a dosage of 25-75g/t and a withdrawal period of 7 days.
It is mainly used for infections caused by Gram-positive cocci and Gram-negative bacilli, and also for infections caused by rickettsia such as typhus and scrub typhus.
