Sparofloxacin is a third-generation fluoroquinolone broad-spectrum antibiotic, with the chemical name 5-amino-1-cyclopropyl-7- (cis-3,5-dimethyl-1-piperazinyl) -6,8-difluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxoquinoline-3-carboxylic acid, CAS number 11542-93-9, and molecular weight 392.40. This product is a white to slightly yellow crystalline powder, slightly soluble in water, and easily soluble in dilute acid or alkaline solutions.
