Bimatoprost is a prostaglandin analog used topically (as eye drops) to control the progression ofglaucoma and in the management of hypertension. It reduces intraocular pressure (IOP) by increasing the outflow of aqueous fluid from the eyes. In December 2008, the indication to lengtheneyelashes was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).Latanoprost is a medication used to treat increased pressure inside the eye. This includes ocular hypertension and open angle glaucoma. It is applied as eye drops to the eyes.

Application&Function

 

1) Treat of glaucoma

Bimatoprost is used topically (as eye drops) to control the progression of glaucoma and in the management of ocular hypertension.
