Fusidic acid is highly sensitive to various Gram-positive cocci associated with skin infections, especially to Staphylococcus, and is also effective against drug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. It also has certain antibacterial activity against some Gram-negative bacteria. There was no cross-resistance to other antibiotics.

It is an antibiotic with a steroid skeleton that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis. And play an antibacterial or bactericidal effect.
