Lidocaine HCl is a local anesthetic of the amide class, with the chemical name 2-diethylamino-N-2,6-dimethylphenylacetamide hydrochloride. It belongs to class IB arrhythmia drugs, with sedative, analgesic, and anticonvulsant effects, and is an effective tumor inhibitor that can regulate miR-145 expression, inhibit MEK/ERK and NF - κ B signaling pathways, thereby reducing the growth, migration, and invasion of gastric cancer cells.
Lidocaine HCl is mainly used for local anesthesia and is commonly used for local infiltration anesthesia before superficial surgery on the skin or mucous membrane. It can also alleviate postherpetic neuralgia and be absorbed through the skin or mucous membrane, with anti itch effects. In addition, Lidocaine HCl also has antiarrhythmic effects, which can regulate cardiac electrophysiological activity and reduce the occurrence of arrhythmia.
Application&Function
Lidocaine HCl (lidocaine hydrochloride) is an amide local anesthetic and antiarrhythmic drug.
Pharmacological effects and indications
Local anesthesia: By blocking the sodium ion channels of nerve cell membranes and inhibiting action potential conduction, it is used for infiltration anesthesia in superficial skin/mucosal surgeries and can also alleviate postherpetic neuralgia.
Antiarrhythmic (Class IB): reduces myocardial cell excitability and is suitable for arrhythmias such as ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation.
Anti inflammatory effect: By inhibiting pro-inflammatory cytokines (such as ICAM-1) and MEK/ERK, NF - κ B signaling pathways, the inflammatory response is reduced.
