Tildipoirosin is a long-acting macrolide antibiotic with antibacterial properties. It is mainly used to treat infections caused by various Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria, especially showing high sensitivity in respiratory diseases of pigs and cows. These diseases include those caused by pathogenic bacteria such as Pasteurella multocida, Bordetella bronchiseptica, and Haemophilus parasuis.
Tildipoirosin exerts its antibacterial effect through interaction with ribosome binding sites, which is different from the action of tetracycline and tilmicosin. Due to the introduction of a third alkaline moiety in the core of Tylosin, Tildipoirosin provides a wider spectrum of antibiotic action, especially with good protection against Pasteurella in livestock.

Application&Function

Tildipoirosin is an antibiotic obtained by iodizing a derivative of tylosin and reacting it with piperidine. Introducing a third alkaline moiety into the core of Tylosin provides a broader spectrum of antibiotic action, particularly good protection against Pasteurella in livestock, compared to dinucleotide analogues such as Tamikacin. The interaction between Tylosin and ribosome binding sites is different from that of Tylosin and Tymicin.
Antibacterial mechanism
Taijiluoxin is the latest semi synthetic macrolide antibiotic specifically designed for animals, which is a derivative of Tylosin. It has a special three nitrogen structure, which absorbs more quickly after injection, has stronger ability to penetrate the bacterial outer wall, and has more binding sites with bacterial ribosomal proteins, making its antibacterial and bactericidal effects stronger than general macrolide antibiotics. At the same time, its unique trinitrogen structure can prolong the duration of action of Tydelocin in the lungs.
