Chlorfenapyr is a broad spectrum insecticide that does not have EU approval for use. It has a low aqueous solubility, low volatility and, based on its chemical properties, would not normally be expected to leach to groundwater. It is not usually persistent in soil or water systems. It has a moderate mammalian oral toxicity but no other data on human health impact has been identified. There are also gaps in ecotoxicilogical data but it is know to be highly toxic to birds, fish and aquatic invertebrates.
Application&Function
1. Broad insecticide spectrum: It can prevent and control many types of pests such as Lepidoptera and Homoptera, such as diamondback moth, cabbage worm, beet armyworm, cutworm, cabbage borer, cabbage aphid, leafminer, thrips and other vegetable pests. Especially for the adult insects of Lepidoptera pests, it has a good control effect.
2. Strong insecticide: Chlorfenapyr has stomach poison and contact killing effects on pests, and has a certain systemic effect, fast insecticide speed, strong penetration, and relatively thorough insecticide. Generally, pests can be killed within 1 hour after spraying, and the prevention efficiency on the same day can reach more than 85%.
3. Good compatibility: Chlorfenapyr can be mixed with multiple insecticides such as emamectin benzoate, avermectin, indoxacarb, lufenuron, ethyl spinetoram, methoxyfenozide, etc., and the synergistic effect is obvious.
4. No cross-resistance: Chlorfenapyr has no cross-resistance with the mainstream insecticides on the market, and has a good effect on resistant pests.
