Tiamulin bacteriocin is an organic compound with a molecular formula of C28H47NO4S and a molecular weight of 493.742. It is a white or off white crystalline powder.
Taimiao mushroom extract is a diterpenoid antibiotic specifically designed for livestock and poultry. It is obtained by fermenting the higher fungus Pleurotus mutilus to obtain truncated pleurotus extract, which is then chemically synthesized to produce hydrogenated fumarate. First proposed by Kavangh of Australia in 1951 and extensively researched since the 1960s, it is one of the top ten veterinary antibiotics in the world.

Application&Function

The antibacterial spectrum of this product is similar to that of macrolide antibiotics, mainly targeting Gram positive bacteria. It has strong inhibitory effects on Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus, Mycoplasma, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Porcine Treponema dysentery, etc. Its effect on Mycoplasma is stronger than that of macrolides. It has a weak effect on Gram negative bacteria, especially intestinal bacteria. Mainly used for the prevention and treatment of chronic respiratory diseases in chickens, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae pneumonia (asthma), Actinobacterial pleuropneumonia, and Treponema pallidum dysentery. Low doses can promote growth and improve feed utilization efficiency.
