Cetirizine hydrochloride, also known as Cetirizine hydrochloride in English and CAS number 83881-52-1, is an anti allergic drug, also known as Dementia, Stenin, Xianteming, Xiedi, CETIN or CETY. It belongs to the second-generation H1 antihistamines and has the characteristics of long-acting, strong selectivity, and oral efficacy.
Application&Function
Cetirizine hydrochloride is an anti allergic drug whose main pharmacological effect is to alleviate allergic symptoms by antagonizing H1 receptors.
Xitelizine hydrochloride is a hydroxyl derivative of Antale, an anti allergic drug, a new generation H1 receptor antagonist, and a second-generation H1 antihistamine. It has no anticholinergic or anti serotonin effects and rarely crosses the blood-brain barrier. It has inhibitory effects on different chemically induced mediators, including vasoactive peptides, substance P, neuropeptides, and eosinophil chemotaxis. Oral administration is effective quickly, strong, and long-lasting. The side effects are mild, manifested as drowsiness, fatigue, indifferent expressions, and lack of concentration, and generally do not require discontinuation of medication. Clinically used to treat seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis, urticaria caused by allergens, and skin itching.
