Lopromide is a non-ionic contrast agent containing iodine, with the chemical name 5- [acetyl (2,3-dihydroxypropyl) amino] - N, N '- bis (2,3-dihydroxypropyl) -2,4,6-triiodo-1,3-benzenediamide. This compound is a white to off white crystalline powder, easily soluble in water, highly stable, and suitable for medical imaging diagnosis. Lopromide exhibits excellent imaging performance in X-ray contrast, and is widely used in fields such as angiography, urinary system imaging, and CT enhanced scanning due to its low osmotic pressure and low chemical toxicity. Application&Function

The main function of Lopromide is to serve as a contrast agent for X-ray and CT imaging. After intravenous injection or local administration, it effectively absorbs X-rays using its high iodine content (about 60% by weight), enhancing the image contrast of blood vessels, organs, or diseased tissues.
