Colistin Sulfate (CAS: 1264-72-8) is a peptide antibiotic produced by Bacillus polymyxa and belongs to the polymyxin family. Its chemical structure is a cyclic peptide containing hydrophobic and hydrophilic groups, which enables it to damage bacterial cell membranes.
